Horses in the Field

This panel quilt was semi custom quilted with a cross hatch over the panel so the quilting didn’t distract from the scene on the panel. The cross hatching also gave the quilt the western feel that the customer wanted. The border around the panel was quilted using a pattern called cow poke, which includes outlines of cowboy boots and hats. The recipient of the quilt was known so her initials were “branded” on the horse to personalize the quilt. This quilt measures 62” x 74”
